Traders’ Organizations Pledge Support for Balochistan’s Austerity Plans

Quetta: Trader organizations in Balochistan have announced their support for the provincial government’s austerity measures following a meeting with Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti in Quetta today. The commitment from the traders comes as the government seeks collaboration to address the province’s economic challenges.

According to Radio Pakistan, the traders’ associations expressed full cooperation with the government initiatives considering the current economic situation. In a joint decision, it was agreed that markets across the province will close at 8:00 PM, while marriage halls and restaurants will shut their doors by 11:00 PM. This agreement aims to conserve energy and resources in line with the government’s austerity objectives.
