Faisalabad: A grievous incident unfolded in Tandlianwala, Faisalabad, where three individuals were fatally shot while returning from a court hearing. The violence has prompted immediate action from high-level law enforcement, with the Inspector General of Punjab Police, Dr. Usman Anwar, demanding swift justice and a thorough investigation.

According to Punjab Police, following the incident, IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar called for an exhaustive report from the Regional Police Officer (RPO) of Faisalabad and instructed the City Police Officer (CPO) to form a special team dedicated to the rapid apprehension and prosecution of the assailants. Dr. Anwar has emphasized the urgency of bringing the perpetrators to justice and ensuring that the families of the deceased—identified as Haq Nawaz, Maqsood, and a bystander, Waqar—see swift and fair legal proceedings.
