According to Punjab Police, following the incident, IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar called for an exhaustive report from the Regional Police Officer (RPO) of Faisalabad and instructed the City Police Officer (CPO) to form a special team dedicated to the rapid apprehension and prosecution of the assailants.
