Srinagar: In a heartbreaking incident, two children lost their lives following a road mishap involving a dumper truck in the Kulgam district of the disputed region of Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the accident took place in the D.H. Pora area when a dumper vehicle struck the two young victims. Following the collision, the children were transported to the Sub-District Hospital in D.H. Pora.
Upon arrival, medical professionals pronounced the children dead. The victims have been identified as 13-year-old Muntaha Aijaz and 3-year-old Amman Sab. Post-accident, the driver of the dumper responsible for the incident fled the scene, prompting a manhunt by local authorities.
Officials are actively seeking the driver to address the consequences of this fatal hit-and-run accident.
