Turbat Officials Strategize to Combat Epidemic Diseases and Boost Vaccination Efforts

Turbat: Chairman of the Municipal Corporation Turbat, Balkh Sher Qazi, convened a meeting with local health department officials to address the challenges of epidemic diseases like dengue fever, malaria, chikungunya, and other illnesses. The discussions focused on launching various health projects and enhancing vaccination campaigns to safeguard public health.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the meeting highlighted the recent successes of the UP vaccination campaign, which aims to cover children previously missed in COVID-19 vaccinations. Chairman Qazi praised the campaign as a significant advancement in public health efforts, noting its potential to yield positive outcomes. He emphasized the importance of continuous national campaigns and local fogging operations to control the spread of vector-borne diseases.

Qazi also expressed confidence in the community’s readiness to support health initiatives, underscoring the cooperative spirit of Turbat’s residents toward public health efforts. The meeting concluded with plans to engage more actively with the community to ensure the success of ongoing and future health campaigns.
