Turkeys Erdogan Urges Trump to Keep Talking to Iran

Ankara: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has urged U.S. President Donald Trump to persist with diplomatic engagement with Iran. Erdogan extended Ankara’s support for ongoing diplomatic efforts during a conversation with Trump.

According to Deutsche Welle, the discussion between the two leaders also covered the new defense pact involving Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan. Additionally, they addressed the ongoing conflict in Gaza. Erdogan’s aides released a press statement early on Tuesday detailing these discussions.
