Turkish Ambassador and Pakistani Minister Discuss Strengthening Trade Relations

ISLAMABAD: In a meeting held in Islamabad, Turkish Ambassador to Pakistan Irfan Neziroglu and Minister for Communications, Privatization and Board of Investment Abdul Aleem Khan engaged in discussions focused on enhancing trade relations between their respective countries.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the meeting concentrated on bilateral interests and explored avenues to strengthen economic ties. Abdul Aleem Khan emphasized Pakistan’s intent to pursue investment opportunities, including joint ventures, highlighting the desire to convert the existing friendly relations between Pakistan and Turkiye into substantial business partnerships. He pointed out the potential for investment in several sectors, notably communications.

Ambassador Neziroglu expressed Turkiye’s interest in formalizing and deepening business relations with Pakistan, aiming to build on the current level of cooperation. Both parties appeared committed to exploring ways to expand their economic interactions.
