Turkish Delegation and Pakistan Finance Minister Explore New Investment Opportunities

Islamabad: A Turkish delegation led by Atilla Yerlikaya, President of Corporate Affairs, Communications, and Sustainability at Anadolu Group, met with Pakistan’s Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb in Islamabad to discuss current and future economic collaborations. As part of the delegation, Ahmet Kursad Ertin and Sunay Sanli, senior executives of Coca-Cola Içecek, participated in the meeting, which focused on enhancing the economic ties between the two countries.

According to a statement by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the delegation provided insights into Coca-Cola Içecek’s ongoing investments in Pakistan and explored potential avenues for future investments. They expressed a commitment to the Pakistani market and confidence in its economic potential.

The Turkish representatives acknowledged the Pakistani government’s recent macroeconomic achievements, highlighting efforts to stabilize the economy and attract foreign investment. They noted the improvements in economic indicators as a positive sign for potential investors.

Finance Minister Aurangzeb praised the role of Turkish companies, particularly Coca-Cola Içecek, in contributing to Pakistan’s economic development and job creation. He emphasized the government’s dedication to maintaining a stable policy environment to support foreign investments.

Discussions included potential collaboration areas and policy measures aimed at improving the business climate in Pakistan.
