Two-Day Inter-Parliamentary Speakers’ Conference Underway in Islamabad

Islamabad: Two-day Inter-Parliamentary Speakers’ Conference is underway in Islamabad. Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, parliamentary delegations from nearly forty countries, and representatives of different international organizations are participating in the conference.

According to Radio Pakistan, the theme of the Conference is ‘Peace, Security and Development’. The event is expected to bring together Speakers, Deputy Speakers, and parliamentary representatives from over forty countries, reflecting Pakistan’s growing role in advancing global parliamentary diplomacy.
