Two-day workshop of News Department of Radio Pakistan begins today

Islamabad, May 06, 2014 (PPI-OT): A two-day workshop of the News Department of Radio Pakistan begins here today (Tuesday) to deliberate on ways to make the organization more effective and reflective of public aspirations in the changing scenario. This is the first-ever workshop of its kind in which senior officers of News Department will participate and give proposals to make different sections dynamic.

The participants will finalize recommendations aimed at strengthening the leading role of Radio Pakistan in transmitting news to listeners promptly with accuracy, balance and credibility. Director General Samina Parvez will preside over the workshop.
