Two Terrorists Killed in Fire Exchange with Police in Bannu

Bannu: Two terrorists were killed in an exchange of firing with police in Machan Khel area of district Bannu today.

According to Radio Pakistan, the police were conducting a search operation in the area when the terrorists opened fire on police.

The police retaliated and killed two terrorists on the spot while a search operation is underway to arrest the escaped two terrorists. A huge quantity of arms and ammunition including two mobile phones, two identity cards of banned outfit and a motorcycle recovered from them.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has paid tribute to the Counter Terrorism Department for successfully foiling terrorism plots in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He praised the CTD’s professionalism and highlighted that the role of CTD is commendable in wiping out terrorists in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
