UBL Pakistan Enterprise ETF Appoints New Company Secretary

Karachi: The UBL Pakistan Enterprise Exchange Traded Fund (UBLPETF) announced the appointment of Mr. Muhammad Zuhair Abbas as its new Company Secretary, effective from 29 August 2024. Mr. Abbas succeeds Mr. Hadi Hassan Mukhi, who previously held the position.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the announcement was made to keep the TRE Certificate Holders of the Exchange well-informed about the administrative changes within the Fund. Mr. Abbas’s appointment marks a significant transition for UBLPETF, indicating a continued focus on robust governance and operational efficiency in the management of the fund.

This personnel change comes as part of routine administrative adjustments, aimed at enhancing the management structure of UBLPETF and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and governance standards.
