UN Women Designates Hania Aamir as National Goodwill Ambassador for Pakistan

Islamabad: The United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women has officially appointed actor and youth icon Hania Aamir as its National Goodwill Ambassador for Pakistan. In her new role, Hania Aamir will serve as a voice for women and girls across the country, leveraging her wide public influence to promote gender equality, women’s empowerment, and social inclusion.

According to Radio Pakistan, Hania Aamir succeeds Muniba Mazari, who held the honorary position until August 2025 and continues to be an influential global advocate for women’s rights, inclusion, and social justice.
