UNGA Convenes High-Level Meeting to Mark 80th Anniversary

New york: A high-level meeting of the General Assembly to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the United Nations will be held today. The meeting is set to highlight eight decades of achievements and the path ahead for a more inclusive and responsive multilateral system.

According to Radio Pakistan, the assembly aims to reflect on the accomplishments of the United Nations over the past 80 years. The focus will also be on strategizing future directions to enhance the effectiveness and inclusivity of the multilateral framework. The discussions are expected to bring together various member states and international stakeholders to chart a course for the next phase of global cooperation.
