UNGA President Calls for De-Escalation in Middle East

Islamabad: President of the United Nations General Assembly, Annalena Baerbock, has called upon the United States, Israel, and Iran to de-escalate, not to drag neighboring countries into conflict and return to diplomacy and negotiations.

According to Radio Pakistan, in her statement, she condemned the extremely dangerous military escalation in the Middle East.

The President of the UN General Assembly emphasized that the UN Charter is clear that all Member States must settle their international disputes by peaceful means in such a manner that international peace and security, and justice, are not endangered.
