Unidentified Body Recovered from River Jhelum in Srinagar

Srinagar: Early Friday morning, local authorities discovered an unidentified body in the River Jhelum near Nalbandpora in the Chattabal area of Srinagar, in the region known as Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the body was retrieved from the river and has since been moved to a local hospital to assist in identifying the deceased. The police are conducting an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the recovery.

Local police are reaching out to the community, requesting anyone with information about missing persons to contact the Bagiyas Chattabal police post to potentially aid in the identification process.
