Unity Among Muslim Ummah Essential to Face Challenges, Says Ahsan Iqbal

Islamabad: Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal emphasized the need for unity within the Muslim Ummah to address the challenges facing the community globally. He made these remarks while addressing a Seerat conference in the capital.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Ahsan Iqbal highlighted that the life and teachings of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) serve as a guiding light for Muslims in overcoming difficulties. The minister reiterated that unity among Muslim nations is critical in confronting the contemporary issues the Ummah faces, urging collective action to move forward.

The conference, focused on the lessons derived from the Prophet’s teachings, underscored the importance of unity, tolerance, and compassion in dealing with both internal and external challenges. Iqbal further stressed that the principles of justice and equality, as demonstrated by the Prophet, should be at the forefront of addressing these matters.
