Quetta: The University of Balochistan will hold its 21st Convocation on November 21, 2024, at the university’s Expo Center. The ceremony, commencing at nine in the morning, will see the distribution of original certificates to graduating students across various departments. Degrees will be conferred upon 25 Ph.D. scholars and 27 MPhil scholars, with 335 degrees awarded to students in various fields, including 35 gold medalists.
According to Public Service Commission Balochistan, the convocation will feature Chancellor Jamia Balochistan and Governor of Balochistan, Mr. Sheikh Jafar Khan Mandukhel, as the chief guest. The event will be attended by provincial ministers, vice chancellors of universities, departmental secretaries, teachers, students, and representatives from different sectors. Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Zahoor Ahmad Bazai will extend a welcome to all guests, marking the formal commencement of the convocation ceremony.
