Unofficial Results Show PML-N Leading in AJK Elections’ Second Phase

Islamabad: The Election Commission of Azad Kashmir has announced unofficial results for eighteen constituencies thus far. Addressing a press conference in Muzaffarabad, Chief Election Commissioner, Justice (Retd) Ghulam Mustafa Mughal, revealed that candidates from the Pakistan Muslim League (N) were successful in fourteen of these seats.

According to Radio Pakistan, the victorious PML-N candidates include Nasir Dar in LA-34, Chaudhry Muhammad Ismail in LA-35, Muhammad Ahsan Raza in LA-36, Maryam Javed in LA-37, Zeeshah Ali in LA-38, Raja Muhammad Siddique Khan in LA-39, Muhammad Amir Shah in LA-41, Syed Shawkat Ali Shah in LA-42, Muhammad Yasin Lone in LA-43, Ahmad Raza Qadiri in LA-44, Ghulam Qadir in LA-25, Dr. Mustafa Bashir Abbasi in LA-30, Saqib Majeed Khan in LA-31, and Raja Farooq Haider Khan in LA-32.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan Peoples Party secured victories in four constituencies, with Amir Abdul Ghaffar Khan winning in LA-40, Abdul Majid Khan in LA-45, Mian Abdul Waheed Khan in LA-26, and Sardar Mukhtar Ahmad Khan in LA-29.

Polling is scheduled to take place in LA-27 tomorrow, marking the next step in the electoral process.
