Uptick in Violence in Ukraine Conflict Diminishing Prospects for Peace: Usman

New york: Pakistan has raised concerns over the escalating violence in the Ukraine conflict, stating that it is undermining the prospects for peace. This statement was made by Pakistan’s Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Usman Jadoon, during a national statement at a UN Security Council meeting focused on Ukraine.

According to Radio Pakistan, Usman Jadoon emphasized the need to reverse the increasingly dangerous trajectory of the conflict. He advocated for a greater investment in dialogue and diplomacy instead of military solutions as the optimal approach to resolving the situation. Jadoon reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to supporting all initiatives aimed at achieving a just, comprehensive, durable, and peaceful resolution to the conflict.
