Islamabad: A high-level delegation of US investors, led by Texas hedge fund manager Gentry Beach, has arrived in Pakistan for a two-day visit, marking a significant move in strengthening economic and diplomatic ties between the two nations.
According to a statement by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the visit coincides with the recent inauguration of the new US Administration. The delegation’s arrival is seen as pivotal in fostering investment and enhancing bilateral relations.
Sources indicate that several investment agreements have been signed during the visit, potentially opening new avenues for economic collaboration between Pakistan and the United States.
Gentry Beach, known for his business partnerships with the Trump family, had previously lauded Pakistan’s efforts in combating terrorism at an event held at Mar-a-Lago following the US presidential elections.
During his speech, Beach praised Pakistan’s sacrifices in the fight against terrorism and encouraged President Donald Trump to work towards strengthening ties between the US and Pakistan.
