Islamabad: The 95th meeting of the Universal Service Fund (USF) Board, presided over by Mr. Zarrar Hasham Khan, Secretary of the Ministry of IT and Telecom Pakistan, convened on December 27th, 2024. Key topics included compliance with the State-Owned Enterprises (Governance and Operations) Act, 2023, updates on operational and legal matters, and discussions on future regulatory strategies.

According to a statement by Universal Service Funds, the meeting saw participation from six of the seven board members along with USF management. The discussions primarily centered around ensuring adherence to the latest governance policies as mandated by the 2023 Act.
