Uzbekistan and Pakistan Discuss Strengthening Defense Ties

Islamabad: The Ambassador of Uzbekistan, Alisher Tukhtaev, met with Pakistan’s Minister for Defence and Defence Production, Khawaja Muhammad Asif, in Islamabad to discuss enhancing defense cooperation. During the meeting, the defense minister emphasized the significance of Pakistan’s relationship with Uzbekistan, which is rooted in shared historical, cultural, and religious ties.

According to Press Information Department, the discussions focused on exploring mutually beneficial opportunities for collaboration in the defense sector. Ambassador Tukhtaev expressed Uzbekistan’s commitment to working collaboratively with Pakistan to bolster bilateral relations.
