Karachi: VIS Credit Rating Company Ltd. (VIS) has reaffirmed the entity ratings of Topline Securities Limited at ‘A/A1’ (Single A/A One), indicating a stable outlook for the stock brokerage firm. The long-term rating of ‘A’ suggests good credit quality with adequate protection factors, while the short-term rating of ‘A1’ reflects a strong likelihood of timely repayment of short-term obligations, backed by excellent liquidity factors. The previous rating action was announced on July 24, 2023.

According to VIS Credit Rating Company Limited, Topline Securities Limited (TSL), which holds a Trading and Self-clearing license, operates in stock brokerage, commodity brokerage, underwriting, consultancy, book bidding, and advisory services. The company’s shareholding is predominantly held by Mr. Mohammad Sohail, who also serves as the CEO. TSL caters to both local and foreign clients through online and assisted trading services. The company’s external auditors are M/s Naveed Zafar Ashfaq Jaffery & Co. – Chartered Accountants, who are rated “A” on the State Bank of Pakistan’s panel of auditors.
