Srinagar: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, People’s Democratic Party President Mehbooba Mufti has stated that the Waqf Amendment bill is designed to disempower Muslims.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Waqf (Amendment) Bill, 2024, has been tabled by the Bharatiya Janata Party-led government in Lok Sabha. Mehbooba Mufti expressed her concerns, highlighting that Muslims in India are facing persecution, targeted lynching incidents, and encroachments on graveyards.
