WB Country Director Calls on PM in Islamabad

Islamabad: World Bank Country Director in Pakistan Najy Benhassine paid a farewell call on Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad today. The Prime Minister applauded his role in strengthening the partnership between Pakistan and the World Bank.

According to Radio Pakistan, Najy Benhassine will always be remembered for his services in the rehabilitation of flood-affected people in Pakistan in 2022, and his cooperation with Pakistani authorities for the World Bank’s Country Partnership Framework. The Prime Minister extended his best wishes to Najy Benhassine and said wherever he serves in the world, Pakistan and its people will always remember his services admiringly.

Speaking on the occasion, Najy Benhassine said Pakistan’s economic team under the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif saved the country from default and put it on the path of stability. He lauded Pakistan’s economic stability and journey to progress and development.

Najy Benhassine remarked that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is a hardworking leader who saved Pakistan’s economy despite difficulties.
