Week-long Anti-Polio Drive to Begin in Balochistan Tomorrow

Rawalpindi: A week-long fractional Inactivated Polio vaccination campaign will be commenced on Monday in sensitive union councils across Balochistan to protect children from polio and stop the transmission of the virus.

According to Radio Pakistan, more than 0.5 million children up to the age of five years will be vaccinated while children will also receive Oral Polio Vaccine drops to enhance immunity and ensure comprehensive protection.

This campaign will cover 123 high-risk union councils, including union councils in Quetta, Pishin, Chaman, Dera Bugti, Duki, Zhob and Qila Abdullah districts.
