Week-Long Polio Vaccination Campaign to Target High-Risk Areas

Islamabad: A week-long sub-national polio vaccination campaign will start tomorrow in 115 districts across the country. During the campaign, more than 31 million children under the age of five will be administered anti-polio drops.

According to Radio Pakistan, the campaign will take place across Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, Islamabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, and Sindh. The activities will focus on high-risk and hotspot areas where children remain particularly vulnerable to poliovirus transmission.
