WHO Vows to Support Pakistan in Achieving Health Goals

Islamabad: The World Health Organization has reaffirmed its firm commitment to support Pakistan in achieving its health goals. During a telephonic conversation with Minister for Health, Mustafa Kamal, Regional Director of the World Health Organization, Eastern Mediterranean Region, Dr. Hanan Balkhy commended the efforts of the Prime Minister and Pakistan’s health authorities in polio eradication.

According to Radio Pakistan, Dr. Balkhy assured continued WHO support in fighting polio and other infectious diseases in the country. Both leaders agreed to further enhance collaboration in the health sector.

Mustafa Kamal stated that Pakistan is committed to strengthen global health security.
