Widespread Rain and Thundershowers Expected Across Pakistan: PMD

Islamabad: Widespread intermittent rain accompanied by windstorms and thundershowers is anticipated in several regions of Pakistan, including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Islamabad, Punjab, northeastern Balochistan, and Gilgit-Baltistan. Heavy rainfall, and occasionally very heavy downpours, may occur at a few locations during this period. Meanwhile, the southern parts of the country are expected to experience hot and very humid weather conditions.

According to Radio Pakistan, the temperatures recorded in major cities this morning were as follows: Islamabad at twenty-five degrees centigrade, Lahore at twenty-eight, Karachi at twenty-nine, Peshawar and Quetta at twenty-four, Murree at eighteen, Gilgit at twenty-three, and Muzaffarabad at twenty-two degrees centigrade.

For the region of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the weather forecast predicts partly cloudy conditions with chances of rain, wind, and thundershowers in areas such as Srinagar, Jammu, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula
. The morning temperatures recorded in these areas were Srinagar, Anantnag, and Baramula at twenty-one degrees centigrade, Jammu at twenty-six, Leh at ten, and Pulwama and Shopian at twenty degrees centigrade.
