Work on Laying 480km Railway Track from Karachi to Rohri to Start Next Year: Hanif

Islamabad: Minister for Railways Muhammad Hanif Abbasi announced that work on laying a 480-kilometer railway track from Karachi to Rohri is set to begin next year. He shared this information during a meeting with Sindh Governor Muhammad Nihal Hashmi in Karachi.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister highlighted the upcoming initiatives of Pakistan Railways, which include the transportation of fuel, automobiles, minerals, and LPG. Furthermore, he noted that Pakistan Railways is currently transporting eleven thousand tons of coal daily from Thar to powerhouses, showcasing its ongoing commitment to supporting the energy sector.
