World-Class Green-Tech Hub Launched in Islamabad to Transform Energy Sector

Islamabad: A new green-tech hub, designed to overhaul Pakistan’s energy sector and curtail its carbon footprint, was inaugurated today in the capital city. This initiative aims to integrate green technologies and promote renewable energy solutions across the nation.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the project is a collaboration between the Ministry of Climate Change and various national and international stakeholders in the energy sector. The hub is expected to spearhead eco-friendly innovations and foster sustainable development within the region.

Romina Khurshid Alam, the Prime Minister’s Coordinator on Climate Change, highlighted at the ceremony that the Green-Tech Hub is set to play a pivotal role in establishing Pakistan as a regional authority in sustainable practices and innovations. The hub will also strive to tackle pressing climate challenges, contributing to a more robust and environmentally resilient economy, while enhancing Pakistan’s stature as a prime location for green investments.
