World Day Against Trafficking in Persons Highlights Role of Law Enforcement

Islamabad: World Day Against Trafficking in Persons is being observed today. The day was established to raise awareness of the plight of human trafficking victims and to promote and protect their rights.

According to Radio Pakistan, this year’s campaign emphasizes the essential role of law enforcement and the criminal justice system in dismantling organized trafficking networks. The initiative also stresses the importance of maintaining a victim-centered approach while tackling this global issue.
