World Hepatitis Day Observed with a Call to Action

Islamabad: World Hepatitis Day was observed on Monday. The day aims at raising awareness of viral hepatitis that causes severe liver disease and liver cancer.

According to Radio Pakistan, the theme of the day this year is ‘Hepatitis: Let’s Break It Down.’ It calls for urgent action to dismantle the financial, social, and systemic barriers that stand in the way of hepatitis elimination and liver cancer prevention.
