According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, The theme for World Suicide Prevention Day from 2024 to 2026 is “Changing the Narrative on Suicide,” aimed at decreasing stigma and promoting open discussions on this critical public health issue. The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting emphasizes the importance of this day in raising awareness and encouraging preventative measures. Annually, suicide claims more than 700,000 lives worldwide, highlighting the urgent need for comprehensive strategies to address this preventable cause of death.
