Islamabad: A rally was taken out at the Constitution Avenue in Islamabad today in connection with Youm-e-Istehsal. People belonging to different walks of life participated in the rally. The participants raised full-throated slogans in support of Kashmiri people and against the Indian atrocities in illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Radio Pakistan, addressing the participants at D-Chowk, Minister for Kashmir Affairs Amir Muqam paid rich tributes to the courage and resilience of the people of Indian illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. Referring to the continued Indian atrocities and blatant human rights violations in IIOJK, he said these have not shaken the resolve of Kashmiri people for their right to self-determination.
He urged the international community to implement the UN Security Council resolutions on the Jammu and Kashmir dispute for peace and stability in the region.
In his remarks, Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Tariq Fazal Chaudhry said Pakistan stands shoulder to shoulder with the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir in their legitimate struggle for the right to self-determination. He said Pakistan will continue to highlight the Jammu and Kashmir dispute at the world level.
