Yousaf Calls for Interfaith Dialogue to Foster Global Peace

Islamabad: Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Mohammad Yousaf has emphasized the need for dialogue between religions and civilizations to ensure global peace. During a meeting with Egyptian Ambassador Dr. Ihab Abdelhamid in Islamabad, he stressed that Pakistan and Egypt should collaborate in this endeavor.

According to Radio Pakistan, both sides agreed to enhance economic, trade, and cultural relations between the two countries. The Egyptian Ambassador proposed sending Pakistani scholars to Egypt to benefit from the teachings and experiences of Al-Azhar University. He also offered to establish a modern educational institution in Islamabad under the supervision of Al-Azhar University.
