Yousaf Lauds Italy’s Support for Pakistan’s GSP+ Status

Islamabad: Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani has reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to further strengthening its longstanding and friendly relations with Italy. During an informal discussion with Italy’s Ambassador to Pakistan Marilina Armellin in Islamabad, he said bilateral ties are built on mutual respect, shared interests, and cooperation on regional and international issues.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Chairman Senate highlighted the importance of parliamentary diplomacy and growing trade and investment. He also appreciated Italy’s support for Pakistan’s GSP+ status and its development cooperation in the fields of healthcare, education, and sanitation.
