Yousaf Vows to Promote Religious Tolerance, Interfaith Harmony

Islamabad: Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Sardar Muhammad Yousaf has reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to continuing close cooperation with the United Nations’ Alliance of Civilizations to promote religious tolerance and interfaith harmony. He expressed these views during a meeting with the United Nations Special Envoy to Combat Islamophobia, Miguel ngel Moratinos, in Islamabad.

According to Radio Pakistan, the UN Special Envoy appreciated Pakistan’s efforts to promote interfaith harmony and safeguard minority rights, describing the government’s work in this area as valuable and exemplary.
