Youth Parliament of Pakistan Discusses Global Youth Issues at UK Parliament

London, The Youth Parliament of Pakistan (YPP) recently met with key British lawmakers at the UK Parliament to discuss a range of issues affecting young people worldwide. The delegation, led by President Ubaid Qureshi and hosted by Khalid Mahmood MP, engaged in conversations about education, mental health, climate action, and the Kashmir issue.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the bilateral discussions emphasized the importance of civil society and youth involvement in enhancing the relations between Pakistan and the UK. The talks covered the need for international cooperation to tackle the challenges that young populations face globally.

The event served to underscore the significance of youth participation in democratic processes and political discourse. The YPP delegation, comprising seven members including moderators Ms. Hira Bilal and Ms. Sidra Akhtar, concluded their visit with a symbolic exchange of souvenirs, celebrating mutual respect and gratitude between the two nations.
