Ziarat Inaugurates Training for 7th Agriculture Census with Integrated Digital Approach

Ziarat: A three-day training session for the 7th Agriculture Census Integrated Digital Census was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Ziarat Liaquat Ali Kakar at the DC Office Ziarat. The training aims to equip participants with skills to effectively gather detailed agricultural data.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the event was attended by Statistic Assistant Mohammad Faheem and System Analyst Maimoona Babar. The training session is specifically designed for employees of the Department of Agriculture and Livestock. The primary objective of this agricultural census is to collect comprehensive data concerning agricultural resources. This includes information on land usage, crop types, livestock details, agricultural machinery, and the classification of livestock based on age, sex, and breed. Additionally, it covers the ownership and usage of agricultural machinery and the utilization of food requirements.

The data gathered through this census will play a crucial role in shaping agricultural policies and initiatives. By integrating digital tools in the census process, the accuracy and efficiency of the data collection are expected to improve significantly, providing valuable insights for future agricultural development.
