10 outlaws arrested; 4 kg hashish and weapons seized

Islamabad: Islamabad Police have arrested ten outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered four kilogram hashish, three pistols, 105 gram heroin and four wine bottles from their possession, a police spokesman said.

Station House Officer of Tarnol police station Fazal ur Rehman and his team including Sub-Inspectors Muhammad Idrees, Muhammad Yaseen, ASI Abrar Hussain nabbed five persons Rafique Ahmed, Tehseen Fida Muhammad, Imran Khan, Sami and recovered a total of 3.8 kilogram hashish, two pistols and 11 rounds from their possession.

ASI Muhammad Ishfaq from Secretariat Police station nabbed Zulfiqar Hussain and Naeem for having four wine bottles while ASI Muhammad Ejaz from Aabpara police station nabbed a drug pusher Ashraf Masih for having 105 gram heroin.

Sub-Inspector Abdul Ghafoor from Shehzad town police nabbed Noorab Gul for having 30 bore pistol and two rounds while an accused Khizar Hyat was nabbed in a cheque dishonour case.

Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them. SSP Islamabad Muhammad Yousuf Malik has appreciated this performance and directed all SHOs to further improve their output through effective policing.
