Islamabad, February 27, 2018 (PPI-OT): Islamabad police have arrested 13 outlaws including a person portraying himself a policemen and three women involved in looting the passengers besides recovery of narcotics, cash and weapons from them, a police spokesman said. He said that Assistant Sub-Inspector Fawad Khalid along with police team arrested a person involved in cheating the simpleton after portraying himself as policeman. He has been identified as Jameel alias Pada and police recovered looted cash from him. He has a criminal record and around 20 crime cases had been already registered against him.
Meanwhile, Sub-Inspector Masnoor Ahmed from Industrial area police arrested three women involved in taking away cash and other valuables of the passengers travelling in metro buses. They have been identified as Marriyum, Hina and Saba Meraj. Moreover, Sub-Inspector Shamas Akbar from Ramana police station arrested Afsar Khan for having 1020 gram hashish while Sub-Inspector Muhammad Idrees arrested Asif and Amina Bibi for having 1040 gram heroin and 220 gram heroin respectively. ASI Zameer ul Hassan arrested Nafees Akram for possessing 30 bore pistol.
ASI Muhammad Afzal from Shehzad town police arrested Seemab for having a stolen motorbike (LOL-4357) while Shakeel Anjum was held for having stolen mobile phones. Sub-Inspector Aashiq Hussain from Industrial area police arrested Abdul Samad for having 250 gram hashish while Noon police arrested Kashif for possessing 30 bore pistol.
Sub-Inspector Muneer Ahmed from Nilore police arrested Asghar Ali after information provided through safe city project and recovered 30 bore pistol from him. Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them. SSP Islamabad Najeeb ur Rehman Bugvi has appreciated this overall performance and directed all police officials for effective policing measures in their respective areas.
