14th death anniversary of actor Syed Kamal observed

The fourteenth death anniversary of renowned film and TV actor Syed Kamal was observed on Sunday.

Born on 27 April 1937 in Meerut, British India, Syed Kamal was a popular film star during 1960s and 1970s.

He acted in more than 80 films besides acting in TV dramas. He won a Nigar Award in 1968 and was also given a Lifetime achievement award in 2000.

Syed Kamal died on this day in 2009 at Karachi.
