17th Anniversary of Karsaz Tragedy Observed

Karachi: The 17th anniversary of the Karsaz tragedy is being observed today by the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP). The tragic event took place in 2007 when over 180 PPP workers lost their lives in an attack on the welcoming procession of Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Shaheed.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari paid tribute to the martyrs of the Karsaz tragedy. In a statement, he emphasized that the incident serves as a solemn reminder of the ultimate sacrifice made by brave party workers who gave their lives in the struggle for democracy.
