20 Killed, 10 Injured in Rain-Related Incidents in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Khyber pakhtunkhwa: In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, twenty people were killed and ten others injured in rain and floods related incident since Friday.

According to Radio Pakistan, a report from the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) issued on Sunday revealed that a total of fifty-seven houses were damaged due to rain and wind. Among these, fifty-one houses were partially damaged while six were completely demolished.

In addition to the loss of human lives, six cattle also perished in these incidents, highlighting the widespread impact of the severe weather conditions.

The incidents occurred across multiple districts, including Abbottabad, Buner, Charsadda, Kurram, Malakand, Lower Dir, Shangla, Mansehra, Swabi, Swat, and Tor Ghar, affecting a large portion of the region.

The emergency operation center of PDMA is fully functional, and residents are encouraged to report any untoward incidents to the helpline 1700 to ensure timely assistance and response.
