Hanif Abbasi Pays Surprise Visit to Rawalpindi Station

Rawalpindi: Railways Minister Hanif Abbasi made a surprise visit to the Rawalpindi Railway Station on Sunday and boarded the Lahore-bound train as an ordinary passenger to know travelers’ difficulties and problems. The Minister purchased the ticket from his own pocket and embarked on the journey towards Lahore.

According to Radio Pakistan, Abbasi stated that this journey will contribute to his firsthand understanding of ground realities, which will help formulate an effective policy to improve Railways and its services. He emphasized that improving travel facilities for citizens remains his top priority.
