Power outages to continue till 2018 statement rejected by spokesman of Water and Power Development Authority


Lahore: A spokesman of Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) has rejected a statement “Power outages to continue till 2018”, attributed to WAPDA Chairman Mr. Shakil Durrani, appeared in a section of media and termed it as irresponsible and misleading. University of Agriculture, Faisalabad Redevelops Wheat Thresher and Wheat Chopper


Islamabad: The University of Agriculture, Faisalabad (UAF) has redeveloped a wheat thresher by using the reverse engineering process, decreasing the cost of production at Rs. 50000 of the said machine and reducing 300 kilograms in its weight. Ten persons including suspects arrested; narcotics seized


Islamabad: Islamabad Police on Tuesday arrested ten persons including five suspects and recovered 32 wine bottles, 400 gram heroin, 630 gram opium and two pistols from them, a police spokesman said. 23 wanted offenders arrested during last week


Islamabad: Islamabad Police detained 23 wanted offenders in drive against criminals lodged on the instruction of Inspector General of Police Islamabad Bani Amin Khan during last week.
