IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar Addresses Grievances of Police Employees and Their Families

Lahore, In a compassionate initiative at the Central Police Office, Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar met with police employees and their families to address their grievances and ensure swift relief.

According to Punjab Police, Dr. Usman Anwar, after carefully considering various requests and applications, issued directives for immediate action. Among the notable decisions, a directive was issued for Saba Shahzadi, daughter of the late Head Constable Zakaullah, to be appointed as a junior clerk. Furthermore, IG Punjab intervened to facilitate the payment of medical bills for the son of retired Inspector Mehar Manak and directed recruitment-related actions for family members of deceased police employees, ensuring they were given opportunities within the force.

The meeting also saw directives issued for providing housing quarters and other essential supports, emphasizing the Punjab Police’s commitment to care for its community not just in service, but also in their personal needs and challenges.
