25 people burnt alive as bus catches fire in Maharashtra

Buldhana, July 01, 2023 (PPI-OT):At least, twenty-five people charred to death after a bus travelling from Maharashtra’s Yavatmal to Pune in India caught fire in Buldhana Saturday. The incident happened on the Samruddhi Mahamarg Expressway around 2am on Saturday.

“25 bodies are extracted from the bus. A total of 32 people were travelling in the bus. 6-8 people are injured. The injured are being shifted to Buldhana Civil Hospital,” said Buldhana Police Deputy SP Baburao Mahamuni. Further information is awaited.
