70 Pakistanis Evacuated from Lebanon Arrive in Karachi

Karachi: This morning, a special flight with seventy Pakistani nationals evacuated from Lebanon landed, marking a significant repatriation effort amid regional unrest. The arrivals were received by high-ranking officials, including Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori, Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, and provincial minister Ikramullah Dharejo.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the repatriated individuals had traveled to Damascus, Syria by road before being airlifted to Pakistan. The group included four Pakistanis who were residing in Syria. The Pakistan Embassies in Lebanon and Syria coordinated on security, transportation, and food arrangements, ensuring a smooth evacuation process through Lebanon.
